Rasmussen is in Australia to sign an agreement to continue Australian military cooperation with NATO after the Afghanistan mission, working together against common threats of terrorism, piracy and cyber attack.

Australia has 1,550 troops in Afghanistan and is the biggest military contributor to the U.S.-led force in the Central Asian country outside NATO.
